By accessing or using IntelligenZ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

IntelligenZ is an AI-powered study platform that helps students learn by providing tools such as AI chat, quizzes, flashcards, and study guides generated from uploaded course materials.

3. User Accounts

You must register for an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service in any way that:

• Infringes on intellectual property or other rights of any party
• Is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive
• Involves automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with or scrape the Service
• Attempts to circumvent, abuse, or exploit rate limits, usage quotas, or access controls
• Generates disproportionate load or cost on our infrastructure relative to normal use
• Involves sharing, selling, or transferring account access to any third party
• Creates multiple accounts to circumvent limits or a previous ban on an account

We reserve the right to determine, at our sole discretion, what constitutes a violation of these guidelines.

5. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain ownership of all materials you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., generating AI responses, creating study tools).

AI-Generated Content: Content generated by AI tools (quizzes, flashcards, study guides, chat responses) is provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee its accuracy.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

The Service offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment partner. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.

7. Refund Policy

All fees paid for the Service are non-refundable. Once a payment is processed, no refunds or credits will be issued for any subscription fees, including unused portions of a billing period.

If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing cycle. No prorated refund will be provided for the remaining time.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:

• Violation of these Terms of Service, including the Acceptable Use policy above
• Abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity
• Behavior that causes disproportionate cost, harm, or disruption to the Service or other users
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

For severe violations, suspension or termination may be immediate and without prior notice. For less severe violations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Termination may occur with or without a refund of any prepaid fees, at our sole discretion. Users whose accounts have been terminated may not create a new account without our explicit permission.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings, which will permanently remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
